Beschreibung
Colette Caillat (1921-2007) was one of the great scholars of Buddhist, Jain, and Middle Indo-Aryan studies of the last century. Suceeding Louis Renou at the Sorbonne in 1966, she continued to teach there and at Sorbonne-Nouvelle until her retirement in 1988.
   The Pali Text Society has here produced a volume of her selected papers relating to Pali and Buddhist studies. The volume contains 34 articles - 17 in French and 10 in English, plus reviews of fascicles of a Critical Pali Dictionary.
